Super Sassy Shrimp & Crab Salad!

I don't know about y'all, but it's already hot down here in San Antonio, TX. Do you know what that means? Warm weather foods with minimal cooking will be blowing up my recipe blog! My favorite summertime foods consist of fresh crunchy vegetables, dark leafy greens, and protein sources that not only keep me lean, but cool me off at the same time!

If this sounds like something you'd be into, you're going to LOVE my Super Sassy Shrimp & Crab  Salad! This salad takes on the flavors & textures of a poke bowl! So if you love poke, you're in for a treat!

If you've made my other recipes, you understand my love affair with mayonnaise. I use the term, "affair" because I know that the canola oil (GMO filled) that's used in most mayonnaise brands is bad for us. Technically it should be forbidden, however I can't help but gravitate towards its cool, creamy texture.

Luckily I found a great product that has the exact same flavor as other mayonnaise brands, without the use of canola oil! This mayonnaise I speak of is Chosen Foods Mayo. Chosen Foods Mayo is made with avocado oil. Avocado oil is commonly known for lowering cholesterol and fighting heart disease! Something that we should all want in our diet! Chosen Foods Mayo can be found in most grocery stores or on Amazon. Click on the photo below to purchase it on Amazon!

I'm fairly certain that you are ready to get into the recipe so let's get to it!

Enjoy, Sassy Fam!

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon, cilantro chopped

Zest and juice of one lime

1 tablespoon Pink Himalayan Salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
