3 Step Sassy Caramel Sauce! P.S. it's Paleo.

This stuff is a dream come true. If you are a sweet tooth fanatic like me, or you have a big family to feed you may want to double this recipe because it only provides a 1/2 cup. Top it on your favorite clean dessert like my Mexican Keto Parfait or my PB & J Cupcakes. Pair it with fresh fruit like apples or bananas! You're going to love it!



4 tbsp water
1/2 cup coconut sugar

1 cup coconut milk
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 teaspoon Pink Himalayan Salt


1. Add water and sugar to a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stirring constantly.
2. Once the sugar gets dissolved add coconut milk, extract, and salt.
3. Keep on medium heat stirring every so often so the it doesn't  burn. After about 15 minutes the caramel will have small bubbles and the sauce will thicken and become darker. Check the consistency and make sure it turns into a medium thick syrup. If it's still too runny, keep on the heat. Syrup will also thicken after refrigeration.
